The Williams’ have been involved with crisis marriage counseling since 1990 by forming Biblically based support groups that focused on the individual’s life with God, showing how your spiritual state directly relates to your marriage relationship. With their autobiographical book, Yes Your Marriage Can Be Saved, published by Focus on the Family, as well as the accompanying workbook, we learn about their path to healing after their own marriage crisis. This is a great opportunity to have them right here in Mt. Juliet all the way from their home in California.
12th Annual Covenant Confirmers Motorcycle Rally
A full day of fun family events is planned just a short drive from Nashville in Springfield. The event will include a cash run, bike rodeo events, music, live and silent auctions, raffles, and a free kids' carnival with children’s bike rodeo, air rides, games, dunking booth Registration for all events begins at 8:00 A.M. day of event. All proceeds of the day will benefit the Tennessee Biker Medical Clinic. The Clinic is a unique outreach to Middle Tennessee’s biker community, and provides free, quality healthcare to the growing number of biker families, many of whom have have no healthcare coverage. Medical doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, dentists and eye care professionals are available to the biker community. The clinic as an outreach of Covenant Confirmers Ministries.
Prayer Vigil for Tennessee Children in Foster Care
May is National Foster Care Month and North Boulevard Church of Christ will be joining churches across the country in organized prayer vigils for children in foster care. The North Boulevard Church foster care prayer vigil will take place on Sunday with refreshments to follow. Several national organizations including Focus on the Family, Hope for Orphans, a ministry of FamilyLife, and Show Hope are encouraging people to gather together this month to pray for the more than 400,000 children growing up in the foster care system. 4th of July Parade
The Lancaster Independence Day Parade is celebrating our 8th year with an hour long parade with the TN 40th Army Marching Band, George and Martha Washington, Ben Franklin, Uncle Sam and many other past celebrity dignitaries. There will be an apple pie contest, live music, home churned ice cream and the best barbeque in the state, just to celebrate God and country as our theme is "ONE NATION UNDER GOD". Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma 5K Walk
The 11th Annual National Scleroderma 5K Walk-A-Thon is Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Centennial Park, Nashville, TN. We will be located in the large shelter near the train. Registration begins at 8:30 AM. The walk begins at 9:30 AM. All proceeds will benefit the Tennessee Scleroderma Chapter.
