See the educational benefits in one fantastic, fun-filled day at the park. Your child will get the chance to participate in multiple amusing activities all while learning from older students in the academic world. They will get to hear their favorite books and let their minds explore all kinds of possibilities while you can watch the creativity fly. At the end of the day some students will talk about their experiences with reading as they aged and how important it is for growing kids to get enough exposure to books in their life. Organ Concert and Tour
Covenant’s organist Thomas Russell will perform works by Bach, Mendelssohn, Parry, and Travis in a concert of sacred masterworks on Covenant’s Fisk organ. The program will also feature the world premier of a new work by David German. After the concert the organ case will be open for tours to view the nearly 3,000 pipes and intricate inner-workings of Opus 134.

Maury Chaplain Ministries In 2013 oner six thousand men and women were booked into the Maury County Jail. While some were repeat offenders. these numbers represent a large portion of our local population who are in crisis themselves, and creating crisis in the lives of others. Christ in the Passover
The “Last Supper” was actually a Passover seder that Jesus and his disciples observed in the tradition of their ancestors, all the way back to the very first Passover in Egypt. Jewish Christian Larry Stamm will recreate the traditional Passover service and explain how it foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection in a presentation called “Christ in the Passover”. NYSA Soccer Registration
Priority Registration for the 2014 Spring Season. The Nashville Youth Soccer Association (NYSA) has been providing a quality youth soccer experience in the Nashville area for over 30 years. NYSA is a co-ed youth REC soccer league for players ages 3 (must have turned 3 years old by July 31, 2013) through 18. There are no tryouts and children are accepted regardless of whether they've played soccer before or not. Our mission is to provide a safe place where children can be exposed to the game of soccer and learn the game. The NYSA fields are located in Donelson, just off McGavock Pike. NYSA is an all-volunteer non-profit organization, comprised mostly of parents who have children in the league. One hundred percent of our registration fees go to pay the expenses in running the league.

Warming Hearts Expo
Covenant Church in Burns, Tennessee is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Warming Hearts Expo. We are currently booking vendors for our event on Saturday, October 19, 2013. The event will be held at Burns Community Center (106 College Street, Burns, TN) and we have room for 20-25 vendors. Our events mission is to feed back into the community through a food drive and raising money for our Youth and Children's Ministries. The event offers fun for the entire family, with most activities taking place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The GladeFest 5K Run starts at 8 a.m., with registration beginning at 7 a.m. Among the main festivities are live music, antique car and tractor show, free children's inflatables. Johnnyswim Youth Life Benefit Concert
Youth Life Learning Centers of Tennessee (YLLC) announces the Johnnyswim Benefit Concert. Johnnyswim - a Los Angeles based duo composed of Amanda Sudano and Abner Ramirez will be headlining the event. Local Christian artists - Joshua Jamison and Christian indie musician - Taree will open up for Johnnyswim. The concert is scheduled for 7pm on September 21, 2013 at Lipscomb University’s Collins Alumni Auditorium. All proceeds will help fund YLLC’s after school academic enrichment centers - which support the educational, moral and social development of at-risk youth living in Memphis and Nashville. At the end of the week, kids will want to do it all over again! The ‘park’ will open at 6:00 each night with a Family Night on the last night. Family night is a time for the entire family to come in and see everything the kids have learned during the week.
