Building Hope: Brick by Brick / An Evening with Inky Johnson
Anyone who has ever been to on a mission trip to a developing country or seen a mission report from one of those places has had their heart strings tugged on wishing they could do more to help those in need. In the summer of 2014 a group from Spring Hill went to address unmet needs in Ataco, El Salvador. During that visit, we learned a sister group had committed to build 3 houses in the area, but five families were identified as being in tremendous need. So, two families would have to do without. One of the people on the trip (Logan Campbell, an 11th grader) could not get those two families off his mind, and the idea for this fundraiser was born. So “Building Hope Brick by Brick: An Evening with Inky Johnson” will raise the funds to build houses for these two families in need. The event promises to be both fun and rewarding. Thank you for supporting it.
